Sheet Metal Worker (NOC 72102)

Work location

Various locations in Lower Mainland Vancouver, BC

Wage & Hours

CAD$35/Hour, 40Hours/Week & Permanent Full-Time Employment

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

·       Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

·       Schedule work

·       Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification

·       Instruct apprentices

·       Supervise other workers

·       Cut materials using power tools or by hand

·       Estimate costs and materials

·       Fit and join sheet metal parts

·       Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
