Overview
Gake Sushi & Lounge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to support daily kitchen operations and maintain our high standards of authentic Japanese cuisine. The successful candidate will prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail, keep the workstation clean and organized, and follow food safety and quality standards to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of cooking or culinary experience

Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Order supplies and equipment as required
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Support and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely service
