Food Service Supervisor (1 Position)

 

Job Type: Permanent full Time.

Start wage: $17/hour. 35-40 hours per week.

Working time:  Days, evenings, nights and weekends. 

 

Job Duties:

·         Requisition food and kitchen supplies

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·         Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

·         Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

·         Prepare budget and cost estimates

·         Address customers' complaints or concerns

·         Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·         Prepare and submit reports

·         Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

 

Requirements:

·         High school diploma is required. 

·         At least 2 years related experience.  Equivalence considered. 

 

Kitchen Helper (2 Positions)

 

Job Type: Permanent full Time.

Start wage: $16/hour. 35-40 hours per week.

Working time:  Days, evenings, nights and weekends. 

 

Job Duties:

·         Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs

·         Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware

·         Package take-out food

·         Prepare, heat and finish simple food items

·         Remove kitchen garbage and trash

·         Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

·         Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

 

Requirements:

·         High School diploma is required.  Equivalence considered.

·         Experience an asset
