Linos Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team for full-time, permanent work across various construction and renovation sites in Vancouver, BC.Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (32–40 hours per week) Location: On-Site, Various locations in Vancouver, BC (V5R 4Y2) Salary: $36.60 hourlyThis is a physically demanding role that requires flexibility for early morning, morning, and potential overtime shifts. Work sites are typically dusty and often outdoors.Key Responsibilities & Tasks:Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel) for all phases of construction. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.Precisely fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures across various establishments.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in conformance with building codes.RequirementsExperience: 1 year to less than 2 years of proven carpentry experience.Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.Language: English.Work Conditions: Must be physically capable of performing tasks requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and prolonged standing/walking.Safety: required safety equipment/gear, including steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat.To Apply: please submit your resume at linosconstructionjobs@gmail.com Only qualified candidates will be contacted for interview
